What Exactly are Breadcrumbs?

It has been a crazy week with my wife getting really ill and them being such a giver and sharing it with me. I did agree to better and worse, so it's fair game:)

It never fails that getting sick seems to coincide with being extremely busy. Good news is that it forces one to slow down and my choice is to look at things in perspective. Not let it eat away at me while I'm laying, groaning wishing the hammer pounding the side of my head would just mysteriously go away.

Enough of my series of unfortunate events and onto breadcrumbs. These things used to be worthless bits of bread in the bottom of the bread bag. Similar to what techies did to cookies we have done with breadcrumbs.

So what are these things? To put it as simply as possible they are:

Words as links typically near the top of a web page content that gives you a trail of where you have been just in case you wanted to get back.
